DINGHY RACING.

Two races were got off by the To Aro Sailing Club on Saturday afternoon, ono for tho scows, and ono for the dinghies. Five boats competed for the scows' race, tho handicaps being as follow: —Rambler (scr.), Doreen (ltniii.), Maroro (13min.), Rival (Umin.), and Winfred (13min.). Rambler took the lead from tho start, rounding the Jerningham buoy lmin. before Doreen. The threo other boats were further back, and the same order was kept for the rest of the journey. Rambler thus finished first, 3min. before Doreen, and then followed Maroro, 2min. behind. The wind was tricky for tho dinghies, but they got n race off, which resulted in a win for Zel (2min.), with Ajax (Bmin.), second, and Blowfly (2min.), third. Tho other starters ■were: Oeo (smin.), Vera (3min.), and Thelma (scr.). The boats finished together, the distance between each being about half-a-dozen lengths,. \
