She was tho daughter of Mr. Gaminan, sawmiller, and was aged 4} years. Rain, accompanied by a severo thunderstorm, set in on Saturday evening here. It proved very beneficial and removed tho sulphur from tho atmosphere consequent on tho rccont activity of Ngauruhoe. During tho storm the smell of sulphur was very pronounced.
