At 1.30 p.m. yesterday the Now Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Papiroa, from London, na Cape Town and Hobart, passed Farewell Spit en route to Wellington. The vessel arrived ' in tho stream at 12.30 a.m., and after pratique is granted will berth at No. 1 south, Queen's Wharf, probably between 8 and 9 morning.
