Two and a half-dozen oysters, } pint of milk, loz. butter. loz. Hour, breadcrumbs, salt and pepppr to taste, mace, cream if liked. . Scald the oysters in their own liquor, tnking " great oare that they do not boil. Beard them, licit the butter, stir in the Hour, ndd tho mil'c, etir over tho fire until it boils, boil for a few minutes. Remove from the fire. Cut the oysters in half, and.add them with the seasoning to the sauce. Put the mixture into buttered pie-dishes, oil some butter, mix it with the breadcrumbs, and. sprinkle them over the oysters. Brown in the oven and serve very hot. .-FOR. TO-MORROW. One ox tail, 1 pint of peach puree, [elatine. ■ FOR SUNDAY.
