THE CENTRAL MISSION.
At a meeting i held in the Centra] Mission Hall, Herbert Street, last night, tho mem- [ bers of tho Mission, by a vote, of 75 for aud 6 against, confirmed tho resolution for aniiilgaiuation with tho Methodist Churoli of Australasia in Now Zealand, which was carried by a three-fourths majority on February i. Tho following resolutions wero carried unanimously: — (1) That this ■■ meeting deplores tho action of Messrs. W. Tonics, K Loudin, and.others, in resisting tho carrying out of tho resolution, which had been arrived at after much prayerful consideration. (2) The majority of members, not having sanctioned any expenditure, decline, to countenance, neither will they hold 'themselves responsible for, any expenditure incurred by Messrs. \V. To'nks, K Loudin, and others. (3) That this meeting. regrets tho action of Messrs. \V. Tonks f.nd i\ Loudin, in registering n caveat staying tho expressed wish of the majority of the members of this Mission.
