WRECKAGE AT ISLAND BAY.
1> FOUND ON SUNDAY. Yesterday Mr. Nation, of Messrs. Levin aud Company's staff, roporkvl to the- Collector of Customs that ho had found the following wreckage at Island Bay on Sunday:— Ship's grilling, fill, by 3ft. '2'm., 2i». thick. Boat's thwart, f>fl. 6in. by lin. thick, painted rod, white centre, and strong iron knee at ono end. Timber, about 12ft. long, Sin. thick, evidently docking, as caulking adhering. Ziiio box, made by A. and T. liurt, Auckland, 18ii). by 12in. by Oin.; two openings on top with screw lids, full of Mamie' and Day's (A'K.) ship biscuits. Tho above is supposed to have belonged to tho auxiliary brigantinc Itio Logo. A lifebuoy belonging to tho siimo- vessel was found in tho vicinity a fow days ago.
