PROPOSAL TO LIMIT APPEALS. ' OPPOSED BY SIR E. CLARKE. (by TELEGRAPH rRESS ASSOCIATION— COPI RIGHT. Ottawa, March 5.
Sir Edward Clarke, tho eminent English King's Counsel, addressing tho Empire Club at Toronto, protested against any proposal to limit appeals to the Privy Council. Ho doclarod that tho latter had in many instances saved the Courts of the colonies from perpetrating groat wrongs.
