The following is the result of tho ballot in respect to the election of secretary for the Dunedin and Wellington branches respectively of the Australasian Federated Seamen's Union, in regard to which tho members of all branches in Now Zealand were • permitted to vote:— Dunedin Branch.—Belcher, 313; Murray, 41; "Young, 252; Holmes, 90. Auckland Branch.—Belcher, 190; Murray, 6; Young, 167; Holmes, 26. Wellington Branch. —Belcher, 330; Murray, 107 ; -Young, 317 ; Holmes, 127.
