WESLEY CLUB. Tho fourth annual meeting of tho Weslcj Hockey Club was hold last evoning, Mr. W. H. Bennett presiding over a full attendance of mombors. ' The following now members wore elected :— Messre. Down, Grave, Hatch, Beaven, Chumside, Jamos, Schofiold, Brown, Ballaiice, Mealc, and M'Dowcll. Tbo annual roport and balance-sheet talroady published) wore read and adopted. Tho following officers wore elected:—President, tho Rov. S. J. Sorpell: vice-presidents, Messrs. W. H. and A. J. Bennett, J. B, Nelson, H. Crump, R. J. Garrard, O. Tiller, J. Kollow, T. B. Corkill, H. T. Grave, W A. W. Grenfcll; club captain, Mr. L. J!/. OliriStio; vice-captain, Mr. G. A. Kcall; committee, Messrs. L. E. Christie, A. Birch, and O. Jacobsen; seoretary, Mr. A. Birch; treasurer, Mr. O. iTacohsoiij delegates to Wellington Hockoy Association, Messrs. L. E. Christie and G, A. Keal). A committee of soven was set up to draft rules. Donations to the funds wcro received from Messrs. W. H. and A. J. Bennett. VICTORIA COLLEGE CLUB. In presenting the eighth annual report of tbo Victoria Collcgo Hockoy Club, the committee congratulated mombors on a successful all-round season. Although nothing of startling moment had ocourred, last season a performance! 1 , wero decidedly above tho average. Tho senior cloven, after starting badly, took a new leaso of lifo and camo through the second round without losing a match, a performance which, considering the high average standard of hockey in tho city, is decidedly creditable. A synopsis of tho matches shows that tho scoring ability of tlio forwards wae very grcatr-in fact, they scored tho greatest number of goals mado by any tarai to *» wraijetition. Tho junior team, after nattering the hopes of its supporters \is establishing a substantial lead for tbo championship in its earlier stages, lost its norvo at the critical period, and finished runnersup. Still, tho team aro to bo congratulated on their good showing, and also on tho fact that thoy got thrco mon in the junior representatives, Tho club's heartiest congratula. tions aro duo to Mr. Allan MacDougall. who is this year's Rhodes scholar, although MS, absence "from the eleven wae regretted.
