Patterson, solicitor and sawmiller Dannevirke, was mentioned beforo Mr. Justice Cooper yesterday.- _ ;It' will bo remembered that the niatter originally camo the Court in December, when debtor was examined and the petition waß opposed by a minority of the creditors. His .Honour then said that he had not. sufficient information before him upon which to exercise his discretion. From time to time has since been adjourned. Yesterday Mr. Ostler, who represented the bankrupt, intimated that he had been instructed not to proceed with the application: His Honour made an order dismissing the motion. He reserved all questions of costs for!'further consideration.; - Other counsel present wore: Mr. Young, for:the consenting crqditors, including Messrs LeWn and C 0.,. the largest creditors, and Mr.'. Herdman, for the Deputy Official Asdig'neo at Bannovirke, and.the minority of the'creditors who opposed the application.
