Sperry, who was Commander-in-Chief of the Atlantic Fleet during its world cruise from San Francisco to tho Atlantic, has resigned his command . Ho is succeeded by Rear-Admiral Seaton Schroeder, lately commander of the third division (second squadron) of tho Atlantic Fleet.
