REPORT FROM REEFTON. (BT TELEOUAm—I'IIESS association.! Reefton, February 28. Reefton dredging returns for tlio week are as followWorksop, 19oz. B(lwt., 123 hours. New Big River report:—Eastern reef—No. 8 stope, reef 3ft. wide; Nos. 9 aiul 10 stopes, reef broken and mullocky; No. 11 stope, reef 7ft. wide; No. 12 stope, reef 15in., branch reef; No. S stope, reef Gft. wide, tho mullock being stripped of a few feet of stone in the footwnll. No. 9 winze: Sinking continued in country rock, the stone having cut out. No. 9 level, east reef: This face is much broken varying from Ift. to about 3ft. iviue. No. 8 level: No change in prospecting work here. Cosgrovo's Block: No work nas been done to this reef during the week. No. 2 intermediate level: Tho manager has effected repairs to the chamber and has started to repair the level, so as to get under Cosgrove's block of stone. Very little stone has been raised for the week, as the men have been mostly engaged in filling in stopes and repairing No. 2 intermediate chamber. The battery is still idle for want of water.
