At about 3.15 p.m. on.Thurs- -.-, Chance appeared healthy and well, but a -few-minutes later, when witness returned with another load of clay, Chance was lying on the staging, apparently dead., Etforts were made to revive.deceased, but without success, and medical .assistance was ..sent for. John Horatio Chance, potter, son of the deceased,. stated that his father was 56 yoars of ago, and: had always enjoyed excellent health , ! up(to last week, when he stayed-away from work for the week, on account of a cold.
