The ,boilers_were-built- by Messrs; S.\ Luke and Son, W. Cable and Co., and ; Sparrow (Duuedin). The, boilers fitted by Mr. Sparrow .nineteen years ago are still in good working order.,': , ■,:, ■ Officers for the ensuing year have been' elected as follow:—President, Mr. \V. Crabtree; secretary, Mr. H. P. Allen;, treasurer, Mr. John Soott, of Christchurch.. All the .vice-presidents were re-elected. A. number of important matters havebeen left. for the executive committee composed of the Wellington members' to deal with. The next conference will be hold at Auckland. Some of the delegates left to return south' last, nighty and, Messrs.. Warnocfc, Seagar and Bach, of Auckland, leave by the Main Trunk express this morning.. .
