'•■■■ A DWELLING DESTROYED. ; : An outbreak'of fire in a iive-roomed dwelling in Wilson Streot .caused: the Fire Brigade to turn out at 10.45 yesterday morning. The building, which was occupied by Mr. Wm. Thos. Ridd,, and also tho contents; were totally destroyed. The" building was - insured, for £400 in the New Zealand, Insurance Offico, and the contents were covered by a policy for £250 in the same office. The cause of the fits was the accidental, overturning of a kerosene lamp. ' ' ' •
A piece of burning material from" the above fire was.carried on.to the roof of Mr. J. A. Holland's residence on the other ,side'.of the road, but a brigade' had the flames under neforo'much damago had been done.
