SACRED CONCERTS.
The usual Sunday evening concert of the Wellington Professional Orchestra ' was of special- interest last evening, as the proceeds were to be handed o'verto.the Penguin' relief fund,'arid members of Mr. J. C. Williamson's "Bed Mill" .Company contributed to the programme. The Town Hair was crowded, and .many late-cbiners could not gaiii admission. ; . Garry ("lied Mill" Orchestra), orchestra; song, '"O Divine Eedeemer," Miss L.." quartet ■' for wood wind; (a) "Cast Thy. Burden," (b) "0 Best in the Lord,":Mr.Len King; , song, "Angels Guard Thee,". Mr. .Arthur._ Sharpies; trombone solo,' "Thou Art Passing Hence," Mr. ■Harold Oakosi; song,. "Abide With . Me,"' Miss.'Nance Maunseli; Funeral March, or- '■ Mr. F. J. Oakos efficiently conducted .the orchestra.••■■.. ,_ : - '.. - Tho promoters of;the series of sacred concerts at tho Opera House also, enlisted the assistance of members of tho "Bed Mill" Company, and devoted the profits of last evening's performance to the Penguin relief fund.
