The' Wellington .-Bands' Hospital •' Sunday. Committee has held its .final-meeting in connection with the : late demonstration. '. The treasurer presented the balance-sheet (which showed a credit of £290) as follows:— ■■'. .':':■■

The expenditure totalled £59 (for printing,: advertising, new boxes, cartage, bankcharges, music, etc); '■ A cheque- for the ■balance of £290 has been forwarded by the j secretary .(Mr. ,E. J. Oakes) to the Hospital Trustees. . • - '-. -....'-,' '.; The 'thanks of >the committee are extended to Mrs. Hislop and all the ladies, some' of whom collected on both days, : Mr. Crow, Mr. T. P., Lyons,-'. the: Navals (and their ."Kazoo" Band, the Press/Highland Corps,' Mr.(Asher, Mr.. Copithorae, the proprietor of the "Bodega" Cafe, and to. all who in: any, way assisted...-..'"_ The hotels have done particularly well this year, and'the, £73 6s. makes a record collection from this source, '-the: .best box being from ;the Albion Hotel, £12 Is. 2d.
