COMMITTEES' REPORT. .The City. Council held its fortnightly meeting last night, whon there were present t-- 1 , TIIO Mayor (tho Hon. T, W. Hislop), and Councillors Luko, M.P., Smith, Cohen, Ballinger,.;Holes, .Shirtcliffe; Fisher, M.P., Ciss, Fletcher, Carpiichael, Hindmarsh; McLaren, M.P., Morrah, Murdoch, and Godber. Tho Tramways Committee. : recommended that the request of; .the Miramar Borough Council be complied; with', and that the.' committee b'e authorised to . settle the olaim .of Mr. R. Andrewartha for compensation ■in respect of: land; taken . for. tramway purposes at' '.Coutts .Street Lycll' Bay Road,. Kilbirnic. The report was adopted. Tho Firo.
