ANOTHER RAILWAY SERVANT KILLED (B* TELEGBAPII—PRFSS ASSOCIATION.) Auokland, .February 9. While railway trucks wero being shunted at Otahuhu station at two o'clock this morning, a guard named W. Bailey was riding on the cow-catcher of the ongino, and either slipped or lost his hold, and fell. The engine and trucks passed "over his body. His neck and back were broken, ono' arm cut off, and the body terribly battered. Death was probably instantaneous. A BOY DROWNED. {Dt TELEOBAPE—ritESS ASSOCIATION.) Thames, February 9. A lad named Harold Ball, son of r a wellknown Kopu resident, was drowned yesterday. He fell off a small jetty,"near the timber mill into q fast flowing ,rivor and was never seen again. So far the body has not been recovered.
