TO-DAY'S DINNER.
1 [Specially written for Tns Douiniom.] ',i ' - WEDNESDAY. Small Corned Bound of Beef. Carrots. Turnips. Dumplings. Potatoes. Strawberries in. Jelly. Cream. ' i STRAWBEEMES,,IN JELLY. One pound strawberries, 1, one quart of water, Jib. white sugar, one teaspoonful of citric acid, a few drops of essence of lemon, carmine to colour, 2oz. r gelatine., Pick the strawberries over, and put thorn into a glass dish. Cut tho gelatine up into small pieces. If the weather is very hot, allow five or six sheets over the weight. Put it into a basin with half-pint of water, and allow it to soak for about half an hour. Put the rest of the water into a kettle, and bring it to the boil. Add the citric acid and sugar to the gelatine,-and pour tho boiling water over. Stir .until all the gelatine, is dissolved. Add flavouring and colouring, and when it has cooled a little pour it over tho Btrawborries. When set serve with whipped cream. FOR TO-ItOKROW. ' Two pounds steak, two dozen oysters, pastry, 'eauliflower, eggs, butter, half-pint of milk.
