TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Bptelilly written for Tns Dominion.] MONDAY. < Cold Lamb Potatoes. Cucumber. Stewed Mushrooms. Baked Apples. Rice Pudding. ' STEWED MUSHROOMS. Scoop out the inside of some nice round cup mushrooms,- after peeling them, and cut' Mi and peel the stalks; chop up these last mth some onion, parsley, a pinch of Ihymo enough to cover a sixpence. Fry theso in some scraped bacon fat, flavour with pepper and salt, and add sufficient breadcrumbs to fill the sis cups hollowed out. Cook these filled ,cups veiy slowly in a stewpan with a little melted fat, covering over'carefully to keep in the flavour. Serve with brown gravy poured round, not over the mushrooms.
