Tho second of the three races for tho Sayonara Cup resulted in an easy viotory for the defender, Sayonara. The weather was perfect, with a south-westerly breeze. Tho race was sailed over a triangular course. ' The local boat secured tho better position. Thelma was first over tho lino in a steady breeze, but Sayonara quickly forged ahead and rounded the first b'uoy 8 minutes 33 seconds ahead of her rival. Sho sailed right away to tho second buoy, rounding it 10 minutes 55 seconds before Tholma. On tho long reach homo Tholma slightly improved her position, sailing very fast in a freshening breeze, but Sayonara finished 9 minutes 61 seconds before her.'
