' -•,. ' — - 1 The annual picnic of St. Peter's Sunday School was held on Thursday in some bush on the road to Komni, and was attended by a, " large number of adults and children. Jter. C. H. Isaacson, assisted by several willing ladies, supervised games and racing for the childrenj and, as the weather was lovely, a most enjoyable afternoon was spent. Mr. Jl'Dougall, architect to the Wellington Education Boaid, inspected the local school „ buildings on Wednesday, and it is anticipated tho new buildings will bo ready for opening by February 8. i
