Fossil eggs, some of them large ae a man's were recently .found.in the 2000foot tunnel at Conperrcid, Nevada, have been pronounced .ceiimne by Prof. Horace Chapman,.of the University of Pennsylvania. The egga.wero found by blasting in the .end of the tunnel. Tho adjoining strata- indicated to the discoverers" that the fossil eggs had been buried to a depth of about 7000 ft. The specimens show that minerals have displaced the' contents of-thoegEM.
