A deputation, from : the Chamber of Commerce Mvaited.on;Dr.'Findlay.rthis afternoon with, the object .of bringing under his notice an anomaly, in the New; Zealand banking law. .It was.pointed out that, under the'.present lawiia private.,company could register as a limiteahabjlit'y company and give bentures securing. a creditor to the loss and injury of;all other, creditors. .The deputation sought.to have, these debentures'placed on the same-footing as an ordinary bill of sale which must : be; registered within 21 days' and could be 'challenged .within four months.'
