Hally, Inspector of Awards at Dunedin, to take up the position. of Conciliation Commissioner, several transfers of inspectors have been arranged...by the' labour. Mr."-Walter Newton, who has been : in the Christchurch office of the Department as inspector of. factories for the last two years, arrivedin Wellington yesterday to take the place of Mr. E. Le Creu, who succeeds Mr; Hally. at Dunedin.. Mr. Newton'is not unknown.in some parts of this district, having been stationed at Masterton for some time,, before going to' Christohurch.
