At the Supreme Court to-day Ernest Wilson (23), convicted on three charges of forgery and uttering at New Plj mouth, was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment. John Marjonbanks Steele, alias ItichaTd Hammond, also convicted of forgery, was sentenced to two years. x Gustave Solomon, alias C Thomas, who stolo a' quantity of copper-wire from the Tramway Company's farm, received two years.
