ALLECED SHEEP STEALING.

A Press Association message from Palmerston North states that Herbert Bergstrom, on remand on- a charge of stealing 202 sheep, was brought before tho Court on Saturday morning and further remanded till next Mo? day. Bail was,fixed at accused in £200, and two securities of £100 each. The sheep alleged to have been sold by Bergstrom have been traced by Constable Tanner and Detective Quirke. They were identified by tho manager of the Balfour estate, for whom accused had worked for twelve, months.' The police stated that other ohaiges would probably bo made against accused. . '.
