' J ' On Wednesday Mrs. Evenson gave a most' enjojable handkerchief evening at her home I in Mom Street as a farewell to Miss Nan-1 nestad and Miss Norah Nannestad, who are leaving on Febiuary 12 on a visit to relatives ' in Norway. Amongst the guests nero Misses 1 Nannestad (4), Baggott, Hugo, Simpson, and I Muir, and Messrs. C. Srnjthe, W. Walker, O. Lawse, G. Beatty, John Thompson, Murray, and Page. I Harbour Picnic. Yesterday afternoon Mrs W. Kennedy gave a delightful harbour picnic, taking her guests in the Natone first to Day's Bay and then on to Lowry Bay, whore they had afternoon tea.
