' J ' On Wednesday Mrs. Evenson gave a most' enjojable handkerchief evening at her home I in Mom Street as a farewell to Miss Nan-1 nestad and Miss Norah Nannestad, who are leaving on Febiuary 12 on a visit to relatives ' in Norway. Amongst the guests nero Misses 1 Nannestad (4), Baggott, Hugo, Simpson, and I Muir, and Messrs. C. Srnjthe, W. Walker, O. Lawse, G. Beatty, John Thompson, Murray, and Page. I Harbour Picnic. Yesterday afternoon Mrs W. Kennedy gave a delightful harbour picnic, taking her guests in the Natone first to Day's Bay and then on to Lowry Bay, whore they had afternoon tea. It was the most charming day imaginable for such an excursion, and- all present thoroughly enjoyed tho trip Among Mrs. guests wero Lady Stout,Watson, Mr. Finch, Mrs R. Stewart, Mrs. M.
