TWO FATAL ACCIDENTS.
SEVERAL INJURED. / (31 TILIGBANI— NIESS ASSOCIATION—COPIBIOHT ) " (Rec. January 28, 11.15 p.m.) Melbourne, January 28. A tramcar ran into a wagon,, containing five men, near Geelong. One man, named Smith, was'hurled against a post, and , his brains were dashed.,,out; two others, W4tkras and Brown, were thrown over an embankment and badly injured; the others sustained minor injuries. Adelaide, January 28. A sudden gale demolished the scaffolding of a building at Norwood, and two>men, who were at work qn it, were precipitated to the ground. . , ' '->,c', 'One,' named Cotton, was killed instantaneously. _ His mate had a marvellous escape; ./■;,• ■ " ■<• - s"' " , Threo' passora-by were buried in the debris, and'two boys were seriously injured.
