Councillors 'Castle and Coles woro re-'ap- : pointed to represent tho council on the TeeL nical Board. The Lower Hutt Town Clerk (Mr, P, R, Purser) informed the council that Councillor Russell had been appointed to represent his council at tile annual conference for the fixing, of the.: day on whioh the statutory half-holiday,was to.be observed, and he suggested- the appointment of a Pctone representative ?nd an arrangement for the holding of, the conference.
