Dinizulu, charged with troasbn and inciting to murder, gavo evidence in his own defence. He donied tho ohargos, declaring that he refused to allow'tho rebel chief Bambaata to stay at Usutu (Dinizulu's kraal), and only reluctantly consented to Bambaata's family remaining there Ho (Dinizulu), was afraid to inform Sir Chas. Saunders (Commissioner of Zulnland) of this, because Bambaata was an enemy of the Government.
