The telegraph' receipts also , ' jumped -up noticeably. •. For -the : last quarter. : , ; they, totalled <£250,832. Iss.\ lljd., as against;' £227,692 7s. 4d. for the final- quarter, of 1907. It is interesting to-compare the postal and telegraph revonue received in- the four con- ••• tres (omitting that, credited to the General Post Office).
