THE WELLINGTON' ASSOCIATION'. OHRISTCHUECH STILL,; HOSTILE. \ A. meeting of the Wellington Amateur Athletic Association was held last evening, Dr. A. K.Newman occupying'the- chair. ' Mr. Davies was appointed to take the place of Mr. W. Coffey on the committee for the reorganisation of tho sport in .districts whoro athletics are not very well supported. Mr. Leo. Myers, of the Auckland Centre, telegraphed that it was intended to recognise the Christchurch body as the council of the sport until it was. constitutionally, overthrown. ' "•' ... ' The Gore Association notified that it could, not undertake the New.'-Zealand .championships,' and it was decided to offer them to Otago, Messrs. Marriot, Larkin, and Talbot being appointed to .make''the arrangements.., Applications for reinstatement' from Messrs.
