[Specially written for The Dominion.] : TUESDAY;- \ Grilled Chops. Potatoes; Vegetable Marrow Stuffed. Baked Bread and Butter Puddiiig. .Raspberries. • ■ v /•' VEGETABLE MARROW STUFFED. Peer thin two moderate-sized marrows';, then out a thiol: piece off one end of. each, and scoop out the seeus. Press olosely' into the .hollows soine'good.pork sausage meat, partially cooked, and put'in; warm;'or,-if preferred, some uicslyseasoned minced beef or .mutton, or, any kind of forcemeat'. Tie'(he. piece which was out off into its original position with tape If there should be any difficulty about scooping out tlia seeds,, divide the, marrows in half lenethwise, and fill with smsago meat... Then priss. the; pieces closely .together, and tie them', ia three or four places; with' tape. _ Having' thu ; prepared - the; marrows,' lay - them in - asaucepan. • put a slice of-butter on each, and sprinkle over them a little, pepper, cayenne, salt,: and grated lintmeg.. Pour..upan,,them half a'pint of stock; add a tablespoohful of vinegar! Cover the sauce-, pan' closely,. and; simmer ;the' marrows as gently as-possible'for two hours. \ Baste frequently witU-.thd sauce. Lift:them ; carefully upon,.a dish, skim the fat from the sauce.vstrain it over them, and serve. : . ; I FOR TO-MORROW. Six,or.seven pounds of. brisket of beef, Jib. suet, carrots, turnips, .1 dozen fresh apricots, 4 sponge, cakes, 3 eggs. ■ ' .
