The following story is being circulated in Dublin of au, extraordinary affair which occurred in Galway recently.. .It is .said-that two young men coming into Galway from Newcastle made a short cut by the railway 'line,-'and when opposite a place called Glanville they observed coming; towards ■ them ,pn tho'line a dark object, which agree was : of human form and about nine feet in height. ■\yiien the object came within,a few yardVof them it vanished, but they again saw it about ; forty yards further along the lino. This time it passed towards Lough .Corrib, ; and, again disappeared. -On coming 'into Galway-the young men spoke of their experience to their : friends, and a - party-was organised to visit the place the following evening and lay tho ghost.' This party say the giant figure, and one young man praised his gun to fire, but fell back in.a swoon, and tho ."ghost" vanished. The hunt was again taken up, but nothing further has been socii. There .was a' similar panic in the same, district a year. BHO.\
