HIS FUTTJItE PLANS. Mr. R. M'Nab, ex-Minister for Lands, arrived from the south yesterday. In answer to a Dominion representative, he stated that he intended to reside in Wellington for the next three months. When asked if ho was likely to he a candidate for the Thames seat, Mr. M'Nab replied that he knew nothing about the matter, except what he had read in the news- - papers. 'It bad not been suggested to him by the Thames people that ho should stand. In answer to a further question, Mr. M'Nab stated that he would Btand for an early vacakcy if he received the opportunity.
