A very successful moeting of the Shannon Racing Club was held in the Club Hotel on Wednesday. The balance-sheet, showing a credit of £33 19s; 7d., was adopted. It was decided to hold the annual meeting on March 17, St. Patrick's Day. A programme was drawn up to bo submitted to Mr. A. E. Whyte, secretary of tho Wellington Racing Club. The following office-bearers were elected:—Patron, Mr. W. H. Field, M.P.; president, Mr. J. M. O'Connor, J.P.; vicepresidents, Messrs. G. N. r Wood, : G. N. Stephenson, D. M.
