We are' informed (says, the Manawatu "Herald") that Foxton possesses a lad who is : apparently lookine; for notoriety, and if his pranks are not-soon nipped in t'ho bud he will, find himself within the walls of a gaoL Complaints have been made to us oti more than ono occasion of his conduct. Here are a few examples: Furious driving round corners, threatening to kill littlo children, and thereby scaring tho proverbial "seven bells" out of them, and sundry, other hare-brained pranks. He lias on more than one occasion received, corporal punishment from irate paronts, but he appears to get no better fast. His vocabulary of "words" would put an' "old' salt" to shame.
