The chair wasoccupied by the: : Missi'oner7(Mr'. ''iranies 'Moore),*: who : duririgVa . short interval delivered a temperahce address, . taking the words "Sorao Tips'for 1909". for', a subject.;. Several men subsequently took the pledge of total abstinence as a result of the address. A conundrum competition was held, and was. won by sailors' from ships iti port.
