King, lias signified his acceptance of the advisers selected for him, the. new Ministers will call upon him and will take'the necessary oath in his presence. ' The vacancies in the Ministry were caused by tho resignation of. the Hon. W. Hall-Jones (Minister for Railways and Public Works), and.the defeat of the Hon.; R.M'Nab (Minister for. Lauds and Agriculture),,but it is believed ; that thb 'Railways, portfolio will go ; to the Hon.. J. A. : Millar,.:and that, a new'iMinistor"for Labour frill,be appointed. There may' also be., other changes ; in' ,tlie ofuces'of' tho present. Ministers; and' there have'.been hints of another resignation.'' It is also Considered probable that fin' additional member of the Cabinet will be appointed without a portfolio. '-. ••-, ~ Messrs. R. M'Konzie, A. W. Hogg; and W. ■T. Jennings, M.P.'s, arrived in town yesterday. Their presence ;a't this 'particular time may be taken' as. indicating a Strong probability of their inclusion in. the. reconstructed Cabinet.
