- I Sir John Ward, who, was Lord Mayor ol Leeds in 1902, and Mayor on two previous occasions, has died at Leeds. Scaling a ladder forty-five feet high, Mrs. W. C. Loosley laid the apex stone of a hew Baptist church at High Wycombe.
