During disturbances, .accompanied ,by bloodshed, at Ispahan, tno soldiers got out of hand and pillaged the- bazaar. The Governor and the officials took refuge in the British Consulate! Britain and Russia notify that they 'hold the Persian Government responsible for the lives and property of British and Russian subjects.
