Replying to Count Komura's speech in farowelling the United States fleet, Admiral Sporry declared that no two countries ever clasped hands across the sea so warmly. Both might rest content, for intelligent sympathy had drawn ancient ties still clrser. The public's send-off to the fleet was enthusiastic. •
