A Montreal correspondent states that the Opposition is freely making charges of "graft"' against thd Government, Sir Wilfrid Laurier (tho Prime Minister) presorves a scornful silence, though considerable excitement has been occasioned by the allegation of gross corruption connected with the construction of the Transcontinental Railway.
