The Loan and Mercantile Co. will sell 20 purebred Polled Angus bulls at Waipukurau to-morrow, under instructions from Messrs. W. J. and A. F. Douglas. The annual meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children will he hold 'in the Lower Committee Room, .-Town' Hall, to-morrow, at 8 p.m. The Mayor (Hon. T. W. Hislop) will preside, and several welt known speakers will, assist.
