TE ARO SAILING CLUB.
The second annual meeting of the To Aro Sailing Club was hold at Jlessrs. Jamieson Bros. 1 rooms last night, about 47 being present. Thirteen new members were - elected. Sir. Jamieson, rear commodore, was in the chair. Tho election of officers for tho ensuing year resulted as follows:—President, Mr. Goo. "Winder; vico-prcsidents, Brs. Chappie, Wallace, M'Kenzio, Messrs. 13. ClaTk, A. Pcthorick, J. M'Lean, J. Jamieson; committeo, Jlessrs. M. Barrett, . L.- M'Gregor, G. Higgio, T. Pierard, C. Watt; lion, sec., Mr. R. Highet;. Hon. treasurer, Mr. S. M. Williams;. starter, judgo, and time-keeper, Mr. E. Cairns; handicapper, Mr. C. Watt; measurers, Messrs. It. Highet and' H. Barrett;, auditor, Mr. S. E. Forbes. Tho arrangements of tho club for tho season were left in tlin hands of the committee. It was decided to add a new class to the club, consisting-, of - boats- with round bilges.Twelve trophies and one cup have already been given for tho ensuing year. A fancy dress opening lias been arranged to take plaoe on November 23.
