COTTAGE PUDDING. ; Two teacupfuls flour, 1 teacupful suet, 1 teaoupful sugar, 1 teacupful milk,. 1 egg.' i teaspoonful carbonate of soda, 1 teaspoonful cream of tartar, i- teacupful raisins or currants, grated rind of i lemon. Shred the suet and chop it finely. Clean the fruit. Mix all the' dry ingredients, except the soda,' rwcll together. Mis the soda in a little warm milk. Add the egg, well beaten, 1 and the milk, and soik-to the dry ingredients. Mix well.' Pour into a well-greased Yorkshire pudding-tin, and bake in a moderate oven about half an hour.'.Serve with white sauce. ■ FOE TO-MORROW. 1 crayfish, schnapper, 2 .eggs, 1- pint stock, 1 pint milk, jam. -
