» ALLOCATIONS FOR HOME MISSION WORK. (BY TELEQItAI'H —ritESS ASSOCIATION.) mi n , • Nel3on ' octobe r 21. Tho Baptist Conference closed at 10 o'clock this evening. The income and expenditure of the Missionary Society was estimated at £1836. A committee was sot up in conjunction with the Young, People's Committeo to consider the state of Bible classes. A resolution was passed welcoming tho Rev. F. B. Meyers's visit to the Dominion. Allocations for home mission work were:— Waihi £25, Whangarei £40, Grange Road £50, Epsom ■ £25,. gumfiolds £40, Gisborne £60, Napier £25, Feilding £60, Petone £35,' Central North Main Trunk lino £75, Ashburton £15, Oxford £20, Linwood and Riccarton £40, Kaiapoi and Rangiora £30 Mornington £60, Owaka £30, North Invercargill £25; total, £655. " At the afternoon meeting members of the conference instituted a fund, and promises wore given wiping out last year's deficiency of £130. The annual conference sermon was Breached by the Rev. A. G. Wilson, after which the Communion was celebrated.
