POLICE CASES. ; (Before Mr. W.' G. Riddell, S.M,) A'young man named Charles Reston; appeared on a-charge that, on October 8, at Wadostown, lie broke and entered the dwelling of' Frederick D. Wilton, aud stole therefrom • jewellery to tlio value of £2 Os. 6d, On the application of Chief Detectivo M'Grath, a remand.until October 28 was granted. Mr. Cook appeared for the defendant, who was admitted to bail in tlie. sum of £25 and ono surety of £25. Two first offenders for drunkenness were convicted and fined 55., and one was remanded until this morning.
